Another clue
Macabre riddle
A ghastly view
Subdued to evil
Right there on the floor lies a black mirror
Window to the soul, gate to the horror
Shattered reflections of my pain
Corrupting my dreams with contempt
My heart is trapped forever in death’s domain
Another corpse
A gruesome ending
My vision warps
Voices are calling
Scattered on the floor, bitter memories
Razor-sharp debris spread out by the breeze
Shattered reflections of my pain
Corrupting my dreams with contempt
I can see my sanity flushed right down the drain
Walking down the trail of the dead
Aesthesya guides my hand
Hanging by a thread
I’m not alone in this quest
My faith prevails
I shall be blessed
Still I have doubts, why is she there?
Why would Syndras risk his fame?
And why would I care?
It’s too late now to hold back
My mind is set
Dressed in black
Shards bright like crystal blazing on my skin
Lines carved in my hands, making my head spin
Shattered reflections of my pain
Corrupting my dreams with contempt
I will put an end to his heinous reign

The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself

I never cared about symphonic metal at all. I do very much care about folk as well as progressive metal, and so I couldn't resist after reading the third exceptional AMG review for Wilderun in a row. 'Sleep...' has been on my radar for quite some time, being graced by one of the most beckoning cover arts I have ever seen. The band more than lives up to its reputation, composing great musical pieces from start to finish. I absolutely love the multitude of influences being put together here. David Fischer

While many bands are creating short songs to capitalise on the Spotify algorithm, Altesia instead focuses on creating songs of epic length. They are one of the few progressive metal bands that can pull this off. Exit Initia should be in every progressive metal playlist. bunofsteel

Drive and Emotions packed within this one song. Textures that lead into beautiful hard controversions.Enjoying the movement within the whole structure. ballOOnhead
