lyrics
Old house full of memories
Treasons, lies and orgies
Blank page moves in a draft
Silence, the demon’s craft
Float in the air
Notes of despair
Twisted and sore
The Devil’s score
Blood drops, stains on the staff
Music fades in a laugh
I hear sweet melodies
Sinful, tragic stories
Float in the air
Notes of despair
Twisted and sore
The Devil’s score
I cannot rest, I’ve been here before
I’ve seen these rooms, the cracks on the floor
I need to flee, this place has my soul
No hope can bloom here in this hellhole
Float in the air
Notes of despair
Malignant symphony
Bows rubbing painful strings
Grotesque harmony
Kneel while the violin sings
Twisted and sore
The Devil’s score
Ominous descent
Decadent fresco
Meaningless movement
Iniquitous concerto
Enlightened by my new guardian angel
I no longer tremble
I will shed some light on these outrages
Open the eyes of the masses

The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself

I never cared about symphonic metal at all. I do very much care about folk as well as progressive metal, and so I couldn't resist after reading the third exceptional AMG review for Wilderun in a row. 'Sleep...' has been on my radar for quite some time, being graced by one of the most beckoning cover arts I have ever seen. The band more than lives up to its reputation, composing great musical pieces from start to finish. I absolutely love the multitude of influences being put together here. David Fischer

While many bands are creating short songs to capitalise on the Spotify algorithm, Altesia instead focuses on creating songs of epic length. They are one of the few progressive metal bands that can pull this off. Exit Initia should be in every progressive metal playlist. bunofsteel
The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
Streamlining their post-metal sprawl through a sharper melodic focus, the Scottish juggernauts' third LP is labyrinthine yet approachable. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 25, 2024

Drive and Emotions packed within this one song. Textures that lead into beautiful hard controversions.Enjoying the movement within the whole structure. ballOOnhead
